Our client has over 40 Hospitals around the UK, you can receive fast, same day or short stay surgery and diagnostic procedures. Their Centres are designed to give you greater choice over when and where you have your surgery and play a major role in helping reduce NHS waiting times as well as private patients.
A number of opportunity's have arisen for experienced theatre orthopaedic scrub nurse to join the friendly and diverse team within an established private hospital based in London.

They require a theatre practitioner who has knowledge and experience of major and minor orthopaedic procedures including major joint replacement as well as experience within most theatre procedures such as general surgery, cosmetic, gynaecology and neuro-spinal. The successful candidate will be an assertive individual, able to assist in the assessment and implementation of patient care needs within the theatre operating department and ensure all patients are treated in a professional manner adhering to confidentiality.

In addition the hospital is looking for a team member who is good communicator, well organised and team worker who is enthusiastic, adaptable and who can remain calm and working efficiently whilst under pressure and maintain a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Applicants will ideally be a Registered ODP or First Level Registered Nurses with a minimum two years relevant post registration experience.
• Qualifications must be registered with the NMC/ HPC
• Previous experience working in scrub, ideally in orthopaedics

Candidates should be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
